Race season is over and we had a pretty good year.Crashed hard at Sunset Speedway in July when the right front hub broke but we got the Neon back in shape. In 2009 we won 6 features and 1 invitational at Sauble. Won the Chase for the Colours at Peterborough in July and Finished 3rd in the fall Classic last weekend 11 Oct 09. Very good year with a total of 8 feature wins at two tracks.I was going to build a new car this winter but after the strong run in the Fall Classic I am going to run the same car next year. It is not pretty but still fast .
JULY 3 and JULY 5 2009
We planned a race week vacation.Sunday June 28 at Sunset and Wed July1 at Sauble Rained out!!! But we did race in Peterborough.
Friday July 3 at KAWARTHA for the MINI STOCK 50 lap Feature,Qualified ok with a 2nd in the heat and 5th in the second heat. Started 7th in main but left front tire went down on pace lap so I was out
My luck turned around at Peterborough Speedway Chase for the Colours on Sunday July 5th. We won the 30 lap main and now have a provisional starting spot for the CLASSIC in the fall.Thanks to LUCAS OIL for sponsoring the race and the GREAT trophy.

Third weekend of racing at Sauble . It was a very cold night but the NEONS were hot.Sweeping all three races for the night
Dean Curry #09 won the first heat with Mike Smith #66 in second
Mike Smith won the second heat with Dean in second
The feature was a battle between the neons with Dean passing Mike on the last lap for his first feature win of 2009.

May 17 2009 Opening Night Sauble Speedway . Team Dodge had a great night. Mike Smith #66 won both of his heats and the FEATURE. Dean Curry #09 won both of his heats and placed a close 2nd to Mike in the feature. Looking forward to next week.
